Tanning Pre/Post Care
Tanning Prep:
-
Make sure to exfoliate your entire body focusing on the lower half of your legs, chest, hands, feet, elbows, and knees. You can use a scrubbing mitt or loofa. Use a pumice stone on your feet if necessary.
-
DO NOT USE ANY OIL BASED SCRUBS WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.
-
DO NOT USE ANY DOVE PRODUCTS OR BAR SOAP BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR SERVICE.
-
If you have extremely dry skin, use an oil-based salt/sugar scrub 36-48 hours prior to your airbrush tan.
-
Do not use any oil-based products within 24 hours of your airbrush session.
-
Four or more hours before receiving your airbrush tan, shower using a non-oil-based exfoliator.
-
All waxing must be carried out 24 hrs beforehand, to ensure that your pores close prior to your tanning application.
-
Do not apply any oil, lotion, makeup, or deodorant as they will inhibit the solution from absorbing into the skin.
What To Wear:
-
Wear dark loose fitting clothing to your appointment. Do not wear tight undergarments, socks, shoes, or other clothing that may rub off the airbrush solution.
-
During your airbrush tan, you may wear a dark bathing suit, underwear, thong, or whatever you feel comfortable wearing to give you the most bare skin. Do not wear light colored clothing to avoid staining.
-
If you plan to be tanned nude you must wear a tanning sticker.
-
Apply lip balm such as Coco Balm.
Tanning Aftercare:
-
Do not plan any activities that will cause you to sweat or cause your clothing to rub against your skin for at least 8-12 hours.
